Message from Luan!
We have just finished a 100+ date Irish tour promoting the single "Ghost" and the album "Free." Phew!! Enjoyed EVERY last minute of it! Met so many wonderful people along the way and made so many new friends. Thanks to everyone who came along to the concerts, supported the single and the album, and those who stayed behind for a chat. I will treasure so many happy moments. For now, I need to concentrate on writing and recording for the new album. This one should be global and hopefully I will get to meet a lot of you when I tour it. We may fit in the odd concert where possible so check back, watch out for MySpace bulletins, or sign up for the mailing list. Thanks again everyone and keep in touch! Luan xo

Luan has won in the "Best Female" category for this year's BalconyTV music video awards! BalconyTV is an award winning website showcasing the best musicians. With bases in Dublin (Ireland) and Hamburg (Germany), BalconyTV has become an an integral part of the music scene in Ireland, Germany and beyond. They have recorded a massive 1,000 live performances which have been viewed online over 2 million times!! Congratulations, Luan!!

Luan composes theme song / soundtrack for groundbreaking documentary!
Luan has been chosen by world famous mountaineer and philanthropist Ian McKeever to compose the theme tune and soundtrack for his "soon to be released" groundbreaking documentary "Give Me Shelter". Apart from his mountaineering exploits Ian is a well known Irish radio presenter with Countrymix 106.8FM. He is also a highly sought after motivational speaker for obvious reasons. Luan has appeared on Countrymix on a number of occasions and Ian approached her in regard to getting her to compose and record for the film. Luan willingly agreed to take up the challenge and immersed herself in Ian's book and the documentary footage. To Ian's mind Luan was the perfect choice, as his story is not just one of physical prowess and endurance but one of emotional growth and healing... a thread that runs through many of Luan's compositions. It is also a story of a driven person which is a character trait also posessed by Luan, so the matchup is perfect! This will be the first ever documentary to cover the amazing feat of climing all Seven Summits.

LUAN - "MOST STYLISH FEMALE" AWARD!
Luan has won the "Most Stylish Female" award at the 8th annual "Big Buzz Irish Entertainment Industry awards" in Belfast on June 14th. Okay - a non music award but - hey ho - they all count and she is very happy! Her album "Free" was shortlisted down to the final three....She was really thrilled with that! The ultra talented Duke Special (aka Peter Wilson) was a very worthy winner of that award for his groundbreaking album "Songs from the deep forest". Luan also performed and presented an award on the night. There were a total of 250,000 votes across all the categories and Luan would like to thank all who voted for her.
